Along with WNBA MVPs Tina Charles of the New York Liberty and Elena Della Donne of the Washington Mystics, Atlanta Dream guard Tiffany Hayes was selected as an Eastern Conference starter for the 2017 WNBA All-Star Game.

In her first All-Star selection, Hayes earned more votes from fans, WNBA players and media than all other Eastern Conference guards.

In the Dream’s 16 games this season, Hayes averaged 16.6 points and 4.5 rebounds.

The Eastern Conference roster is rounded out by fellow first-time All-Stars Jonquel Jones and Jasmine Thomas from the Connecticut Sun.

The Western Conference roster will feature the Seattle Storm’s Sue Bird, Minnesota Lynx’s Sylvia Fowles and Maya Moore, Los Angeles Sparks’ Candace Parker and Phoenix Mercury’s Diana Taurasi.

The WNBA All-Star reserves will be selected by the 12 head coaches of the WNBA and will be announced on July 18.

The WNBA’s 14th All-Star Game is scheduled for July 22 at KeyArena in Seattle. The game will tip off at 3:30 p.m. EST on ABC.
