What you should know about the Georgia-Notre Dame matchup in South Bend, Ind.:

First start for Jake Fromm: Less than a year ago, Fromm was facing the likes of Northside-Warner Robins and Valdosta as a high school senior. Saturday, he will start as a true freshman at quarterback as the Dogs play on the road against Notre Dame.

‘I have no doubt Jake is prepared for this, and I know he’s going to handle the challenge well,” junior tight end Jackson Harris said of Fromm, who’s starting in place of the injured Jacob Eason.
