The last quarterback to lead Georgia to an SEC title is D.J. Shockley.

The MVP of the 2005 SEC Championship game visits with the AJC's Jeff Schultz and Channel 2 Action News sports director Zach Klein to discuss a wide range of topics on their "We Never Played the Game"  podcast.

Shockley opens up about his relationship with then-coach Mark Richt and his experience in Athens and sitting behind David Greene.  Shockley looks ahead to the rematch against Auburn in the the 2017 SEC title game and his advice to quarterback Jacob Eason -- whom he believes won't return to Athens.
