Mississippi defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche, a former star at Grayson High School, is in stable condition at Grady Hospital in Atlanta after falling at a hotel in Buckhead.

Police responding to an incident Saturday night at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta say Nkemdiche broke a fourth-floor window, climbed over a wall and fell "approximately 15 feet." Officer Kim Jones, a police spokeswoman, said the junior was conscious when officers reported to the scene.

A small amount of suspected marijuana was found in Nkemdiche's hotel room, police said.

On Monday, Nkemdiche was charged with possession of marijuana.

“We are still learning about the matter, but obviously Robert’s well being is our greatest concern,” Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze said in a statement.

Nkemdiche, who had an excellent season with the Rebels, is widely projected as a top-five pick in the 2016 NFL Draft should he choose to forego his final year of college.

Last month, his older brother and Rebels teammate, Denzel Nkemdiche, was hospitalized in intensive care in Oxford, Miss., for what was described as a "personal matter." He missed the last two games of the season and is not expected to play in Mississippi's bowl game.
