Quarterback Jake Fromm started 14 games for Georgia in his freshman season.

Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm, who avidly hunts and fishes, posted on social media that he had a fishing lure stuck in his leg.

Fromm posted the injury to his Instagram story on Thursday night, just hours after he had posted a story with him catching a fish.

Another Instagram story showed that Fromm was at the Cook Medical Center in Adel, Ga., likely to have the fishing lure removed from his leg.

Fromm started 14 games for Georgia in his freshman season, after taking over for Jacob Eason in the first game of the season. Georgia went 13-2 last year, winning the SEC Championship and the Rose Bowl before losing to Alabama in the national title game. He completed 62 percent of his passes and threw for 24 touchdowns to just 7 interceptions for the Bulldogs last season.
