Two Georgia State basketball players, Denny Burguillos and Cameron Solomon, have been ruled academically ineligible by the school.

A Georgia State spokesman declined to answer any questions, citing privacy laws.

Georgia State is on a two-game road trip that will begin with Saturday’s 7 p.m. contest at Old Dominion (2-15, 0-5 Colonial Athletic Association) and ends on Monday at Towson. Neither player made the trip with the team.

The duo were held out of Wednesday’s victory over William and Mary. The spring semester started on Monday.

Burguillos is averaging 1.6 points and 2.5 rebounds in 12.9 minutes per game. Solomon is averaging 5.4 points in 11.2 minutes per game.

Georgia State is 7-11, 2-3 in the conference.
