Georgia State adds Furman, W. Michigan to football schedules

Georgia State has added two more non-conference games to its football schedules.

The Panthers will host Furman on Sept. 7, 2019 and will pay the Paladins $325,000.

The Panthers have also agreed to a home-and-home series with Western Michigan. The Panthers will host the Broncos on Sept. 22, 2018 and will play there Sept. 14, 2019. The Broncos are members of the Mid-American Conference.

Additionally, Georgia State’s game at Tennessee, originally scheduled for Sept. 7, 2019 will move to another date that hasn’t been determined that year.

Georgia State’s future non-conference games are:

Sept. 2 vs. Ball State

Sept. 10 at Air Force

Sept. 17 at Wisconsin (Georgia State will receive $1.2 million)

Oct. 22 vs. Tennessee-Martin

2017

Sept. 2 vs. Tennessee State (Georgia State will pay $325,000)

Sept. 9 at Charlotte

Sept. 16 at Penn State (Georgia State will receive $1.2 million)

Nov. 18 vs. Memphis

Aug. 30 vs. Kennesaw State (Georgia State will pay $135,000)

Sept. 8 at N.C. State (Georgia State will receive $925,000)

Sept. 22 vs. Western Michigan
