Days before NFL draft, former UGA stars watch G-Day in Athens

Former UGA running backs Sony Michel and Nick Chubb participated in the Georgia G-Day festivities Saturday in Athens. And yes, they are wearing each other's former jerseys. When asked why they decided to switch jerseys, Michel replied, "I wanted to honor a great running back." Chubb and Michel finished their careers as the second and third-leading rushers in UGA history, only trailing 1982 Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker. Nick Chubb and Sony Michel are expected to be early-round picks in the NFL draft, which runs April 26-28.

Saturday, they were among more than 82,000 in attendance at Sanford Stadium for Georgia’s G-Day game.
