It might be a good idea initiated too late, but Georgia Tech safety Corey Griffin has urged Yellow Jackets fans to dress for a white-out at Saturday night’s game against Wake Forest at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Griffin sent out a tweet Wednesday evening with his hope/plan for a white-out for the 7:30 p.m. game. Tech great Justin Thomas was among those spreading the word with a retweet.

Tech has practiced this week in its white helmets, a strong indication that the Jackets will wear all white for their first Saturday night home game since the Miracle on Techwood Drive win over Florida State in 2015.

That was a white-out night game, as was another notable win of recent vintage, the 2014 win over Miami. Team members have spoken this week of the excitement and energy elicited by a night game at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Tech had its official white-out game earlier this season, against North Carolina.
