A late second-quarter touchdown and a pair of Rodrigo Blankenship field goals has given Georgia a 13-0 lead over Alabama at halftime of the College Football Playoff championship game.

The Bulldogs held a 6-0 lead on Blankenship field goals from 41 and 27 yards in the second quarter. They extended the lead on a 1-yard touchdown run by Mecole Hardman with seven seconds remaining in the half.
