The Oklahoma Sooners opened as 1.5-point favorites in the 2018 Rose Bowl.

Betting, however, has swayed odds in Georgia's favor (-2) in the College Football Playoff semifinal (5 p.m., Jan. 1) in Pasadena, Calif. If the line holds, it would be the third time Oklahoma is in the underdog role this season.

Score predictors believe it will be a high-scoring affair with the Bulldogs scoring a, 42-37, win.

How does this benefit Georgia?

The Vegas favorite has won seven of the last nine Rose Bowl Games.
