Linebacker Lorenzo Carter is one of the big reasons the Bulldogs are 12-1. Carter was a 6-foot-6 power forward for Norcross High School. He had a 42-inch vertical leap. Carter won two state titles as a basketball player in high school. One came at Whitefield Academy and another at Norcross. He was also on two state champion football teams at Norcross. Georgia linebacker Lorenzo Carter wreaks havoc on the football field. But he's also a beast on the basketball court.

Carter played on two basketball state champions in high school, along with two football state champs.

Basketball was his first love, but he's only played football at UGA.
