Chipper Jones to hold reading, book signing at SunTrust Park

Former Braves third baseman Chipper Jones will hold a reading and book signing at SunTrust Park on Thursday.

Jones’ appearance is the final stop on the tour of Jones’ book “Ballplayer,” written along with former AJC staff writer Carroll Rogers.

The appearance will also include a Q&A about Jones’ book led by Braves radio broadcaster Jim Powell.

The reading will be located in the SunTrust Park Plaza at 4:45 p.m. and is open to all fans before the game. Jones will autograph copies of “Ballplayer” at the Braves’ Clubhouse Store following the reading at 6 p.m. No outside purchases will be signed.

Ticket holders for the Braves’ Thursday game against the New York Mets can purchase “Ballplayer” in the Braves’ Clubhouse Store beginning at 10 a.m.
