Lady Bulldogs season ends with loss to Duke

The Georgia women’s basketball team saw its season come to an abrupt end with a 66-40 loss to Duke at home in an NCAA Tournament second-round game.

The Lady Bulldogs were done in by a woeful second quarter as they were outscored 20-2.

Duke (24-8), the No. 5 seed, was led by Leaonna Odom with a game-high 14 points. Lexie Brown and Erin Mathias added 14 points each.

Georgia (22-7), the No. 4 seed, was led by Caliya Robinson with 11 points and 11 rebounds. No other Lady Bulldog had more than five points.
