Five things learned about the Hawks on Tuesday:

1. Amid the possibility of a trade, Paul Millsap said his heart is in Atlanta and that he would like to remain with the Hawks.

2. The Hawks open a four-game road trip on Wednesday in Orlando. They also will play at the Pelicans, Mavericks and, after a being at home for two days, at the Nets. "We need all these games," Dwight Howard said. "I think this will be a great road trip for us. If we come out of this road trip winning at least three games, it will put us in a really good spot in the East."

3. The Hawks have scored at least 100 points in each game during their current three-game win streak and are 16-4 on the season when hitting the mark.

4. Mike Scott and Taurean Prince will remain on their D-League stints with the Long Island Nets for at least another game. The Nets will host the Erie Bay Hawks tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the Barclays Center.

5. Tiago Splitter appeared on the Hawks broadcast of Sunday's game against the Spurs and said his return from hip, hamstring and calf injuries would be in a matter of days. That seemed to be news to Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer. "I would say he is working his butt off," Budenholzer said Tuesday. "He is an incredibly hard worker and diligent. We are just trying to get his whole body in a place where he can compete in an NBA game."

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
