The Hawks will play the Wizards, the D-League and the Trail Blazers in their three preliminary games of the Las Vegas Summer League next month. The game against the Trail Blazers will be televised by NBA TV.
The following schedule for the Hawks was announced Thursday for games to be played on the campus of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas:
Saturday, July 12: vs. Washington, 4:30 p.m. (ET), Thomas and Mack Center
Sunday, July 13: vs. NBA D-League, 6:30 p.m. (ET), Thomas and Mack Center
Tuesday, July 15: vs. Portland, 4 p.m. (ET), Cox Pavilion (NBA TV)
Following the three preliminary-round games, which end on July 15, all teams will be seeded and play at least two playoff-round games. The league will continue with the playoff rounds until an overall champion is decided on July 21.
John Jenkins, Dennis Schroder, Mike Muscala and Lucas Nogueira are all expected to participate for the Hawks. The team will also consist of available draft picks selected later this month.
