After he was benched for arguing on the court with teammate Dwight Howard, Hawks guard Dennis Schroder is trying to make amends.

Monday night at Philips Arena, the Hawks led the Golden State Warriors 70-69 early in the third quarter when Howard was credited with a turnover on a bad pass to Thabo Sefolosha with 9:42 remaining. As Schroder and Howard argued, the Warriors inbounded the ball and Stephen Curry quickly hit a 3-pointer.

Less than a minute later, Schroder was replaced and spent the remainder of the game on the bench.

In a message on Instagram, Schroder captions a picture with Howard to say:

LET'S GO @atlhawks I still believe on some big things this year with this team !!! We special ! Getting it Right !!!
