Hawks center Dwight Howard had 19 points in Sunday's loss to the Lakers in Los Angeles.

Cell phone video of Hawks center Dwight Howard challenging a fan yelling obscenities at him as he walked off the floor following Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers has gone viral.

TMZ Sports reports a fan repeatedly called after Howard, saying "You're a b-----," as neared the tunnel toward the locker rooms at the Staples Center.

The video shows Howard move security personnel aside as he challenges the man - reportedly in his 20s - to come down from the stands and direct his obscenities to him on even ground.

A security guard forcibly moves Howard down the tunnel as he yells back to the man, "come down here and say it."

Howard was booed throughout the game Sunday.

He had 19 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks in the Hawks' loss - the team's fifth in six games.

Howard played one season (2012) for the Lakers before opting to join the Houston Rockets in 2013 and the Hawks this season.

His decision to leave Los Angeles has left a sour taste with Lakers fans.
