The Hawks assigned reserve forward Mike Scott to the NBA Development League following Monday’s game.

Scott will be assigned to the Delaware 87ers, the affiliate of the 76ers, via the flexible assignment rule.

Scott recently returned from a non-surgical left knee procedure that kept him out of the first 18 games of the season. He has appeared in three games since his return and has two points, eight rebounds and six assists in 29 minutes.

The assignment is to get Scott, who is completely healthy, some high-minute playing time opportunities. Scott did not play in Monday’s 102-99 loss to the Thunder.

Scott is expected to play two games with the 87ers. They are scheduled to host the Santa Cruz Warriors on Tuesday and play at the Westchester Knicks on Thursday.
