Has signing Dwight Howard been a slam dunk for Hawks?

He's not Superman anymore and he's probably no longer a superstar at age 30 either.

But Atlanta native Dwight Howard has been a super addition to the new-look Hawks so far this season.

The team is 3-2 after two straight losses but Howard had 31 points and 11 rebounds Wednesday night and 20 points and 12 rebounds Friday night.

He's given the Hawks an inside presence and created a buzz about the team in his hometown.
