Five things we learned about the Hawks on Tuesday:

1. The injury report lists Tim Hardaway Jr. as questionable with a right groin injury and Tiago Splitter as out with a (right calf strain).

2. The team did not practice on Tuesday after returning from Monday's 104-90 loss at the Timberwolves. They will return to Philips Arena for a scheduled shootaround Wednesday morning in advance of the game against the Knicks.

3. The Hawks open a three-game homestand against the Knicks. It will be the longest homestand at this point in the season. Twice the Hawks have had two straight games at home.

4. With six defensive rebounds against the Nuggets, Dwight Howard now has 8,277 for his career. He moved ahead of Jack Sikma for 16th on the NBA/ABA all-time list.

5. With eight points against the Nuggets, Dennis Schroder had his career-best stretch of 15 straight double-digit scoring games come to an end.
