Lucas Sims pitched seven shutout innings Saturday as the Gwinnett Braves beat the Indianapolis Indians 2-1 in Lawrenceville.

Sims (7-4) gave up just three singles. He struck out nine and walked one.

Sims, who earned his first win since June 26, leads the International League in strikeouts. He has a 3.75 ERA.

Ozzie Albies hit a 403-foot home run, his ninth of the season, for Gwinnett. That ties him for the team lead with Rio Ruiz. Albies is hitting .288.

Ronald Acuna went 0-for-3 and is hitting .231.
