Pitcher Kyle Wright, the Braves' first-round draft pick out of Vanderbilt, may be one of a handful of draftees on the fast track to the Major Leagues, writes MLB.com's Jonathan Mayo.

Braves fans have had to be patient as most of their bevy of high-octane arms across the organization works their way through the ranks, but Wright may be the most Major League-ready of anyone general manager John Coppolella has acquired.

Mayo includes Wright at No. 2 on a list of six players from this week’s draft that could make quick work of the minors on their way to The Show.

“The Braves don't shy away from moving arms quickly with a pair of teenagers and a 20-year-old currently in Double-A,” Mayo wrote. “Wright could join them sooner rather than later.”

Aiding Wright's cause is the fact that he and the Braves agreed to a deal quickly, which gets the ball rolling on getting him one step closer to Atlanta.
