Andrew Albers pitched eight shutouts innings as the Gwinnett Braves beat the host Charlotte Knights 2-0 Saturday night.

Albers improved to 11-3 in Triple-A by striking out 10. He allowed just five hits and one walk.

Albers has thrown 15 consecutive scoreless innings over his last two starts, lowering his ERA to 2.72.

Gwinnett right fielder Ronald Acuna went 1-for-3 with a walk and is hitting .341.

The Braves’ Dansby Swanson was 1-for-4 and scored a run. He’s batting .200.

Left fielder Dustin Peterson was 2-for-4 for Gwinnett (54-57).
