Atlanta United won its appeal of the red card given to Leandro Gonzalez Pirez.

He can play in Saturday’s game at Real Salt Lake. The red card was received during injury time of the first half in Saturday’s 2-1 loss at Montreal.

It was the third red card received by an Atlanta United player this season, but it is the first to be overturned by MLS.

Manager Gerardo Martinez said earlier Wednesday that he wasn’t sure the red card was fair.
