Atlanta United manager Gerardo Martino said he didn't get to watch the team's loaned players who appeared in Charleston's 1-0 win over Bethlehem on Wednesday. But he said it's very important that they get playing time and that he hopes they appear in the Battery's next game.

Romario Williams, on loan for the season, scored the winning goal in the 32nd minute. He has scored eight goals this season.

Miles Robinson, selected with Atlanta United’s first pick in the SuperDraft, made his professional debut, going 90 minutes at centerhalf.

Goalkeeper Alex Tambakis earned his second shutout for the season with the Battery.

Jeffrey Otoo, also on loan for the season, came in as a sub.

Chris Goslin didn’t play.

Charleston will play at New York Red Bulls at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Martino said it’s possible that some of the players who aren’t receiving a lot of playing time may do so in the U.S. Open Cup. Atlanta United will host either Charleston or Jacksonville on June 14. They intend to play at Kennesaw State’s Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
