2018 commit Dontae Smith visits Georgia Tech

After announcing his commitment on June 22, three-star running back commit Dontae Smith visited Georgia Tech on Tuesday.

After his visit, Smith, 5-foot-10, 179 pounds, posted pictures of himself in a Georgia Tech jersey and gloves with recruiting coordinator Andy McCollum. The pictures were captioned, “Great day at Georgia Tech.”

The rising senior at Springhill High School in Columbia, Tenn. is ranked No. 36 on 247 Sports’ list of top 2018 recruits in Tennessee.

In his junior season with Springhill, Smith rushed for 2,204 yards and 21 touchdowns.
