5 things to know tonight: FBI director confirms probe of Russia meddling

1. FBI rebukes wiretapping claims. In the start of Congressional hearings on Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. elections, FBI Director James Comey publicly confirmed that a formal counter intelligence investigation is underway into any Russian actions, and that the probe is also looking at possible links to associates of President Donald Trump and his campaign. 2. ICE: Clayton, DeKalb sheriff's officials limiting cooperation. The Trump administration on Monday issued a report identifying more than 100 local law enforcement agencies — including the Clayton and DeKalb county sheriff's offices — that are limiting cooperation with federal deportation officers. 3. Sheriff Victor Hill's certification on two-year probation due to shooting. A state law enforcement-regulating agency has placed Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill's certification on probation for two years in response to his accidental shooting of a female friend two years ago. [Read here]

4. Braves still evaluating candidates for final bullpen spots. As they began the penultimate week of spring training, the Braves were still discussing the final spots in their bullpen and considering choices from a stockpile of relievers still in camp. [Read here] 

5. Doraville wins court ruling against strip club. The city of Doraville on Monday won another round in its long-running, contentious dispute with Oasis Goodtime Emporium, the adult entertainment club on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. In a one-sentence ruling, the Georgia Supreme Court rejected the club's bid to strike down a pretrial injunction that forbids Oasis from selling alcohol and providing nude dancing. [Read here]
