1. More than 30 people charged in strip club raids. Sandy Springs police raided three adult entertainment establishments on Wednesday, police said. A total of 34 citations were issued to employees. Arrests were also made at each of the three locations for solicitation for an illicit sexual act, police said. Officers say citizen concerns prompted them to begin the investigation in September.[Read here] 

2. Jack Kingston in Russia. Russia's alleged hacking of the U.S. election system has caused quite a bit of Washington hand-wringing, but that hasn't stopped one former Georgia congressman from heading to Moscow. NPR reports ex-Savannah U.S. Rep. Jack Kingston, who served as a top Donald Trump surrogate during the election, was in Russia earlier this week to brief American businesspeople there about what they could expect from the incoming Trump administration. [Read here] 

3. Amanda Davis license had not been suspended. Amanda Davis, the former Fox 5 anchor who is about to start at CBS46 early next year, was arrested Tuesday for what was alleged to be a suspended driver's license but it was all a misunderstanding, according to her boss Mark Pimental, the CBS46 general manager. 4. Ex-Tech standout, wife accused of locking son in basement ask for release. In June 2014, Therian and Recardo Wimbush turned themselves in at the Gwinnett County jail to face allegations they locked their oldest child in a basement bedroom for months at a time. Now the couple has delivered an unusual "plea offer" to the Gwinnett District Attorney's Office. [Read here]
