1. Arrest made in Georgia cold case. More than 11 years after she was last seen alive, an arrest as been made in the death of Georgia teacher Tara Grinstead, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Thursday afternoon. [Read here] 

2. Protective netting will be expanded at SunTrust Park. Fans will get expanded protection from line-drive foul balls at the Atlanta Braves' new stadium. Protective netting will extend from behind home plate to the far end of both dugouts at SunTrust Park, Braves president of business Derek Schiller said. 3. Hawks tried for big deal but made just minor move at trade deadline. The NBA trade deadline came and went on Thursday with the Hawks making one minor move. The team traded Mike Scott, the draft rights to Cenk Akyol and cash considerations to the Suns for a top-55 protected 2017 second-round draft pick. 4. Ready for temps near the 80s? No one can dispute that metro Atlanta has had an unseasonably warm winter. And that trend will continue Friday. 5. Cops find 3 kilograms of cocaine after suspect in 3-car crash flees on I-285. Georgia State Patrol officers found three kilograms of cocaine in a car abandoned by its driver after a pursuit that ended in a three-car crash, the GSP said. Injuries were reported in the incident Thursday on I-285 West past Ga. 400. The driver ran from the scene, across I-285 East, and escaped, the GSP said. An investigation is ongoing. [Read here]
