Tex McIver pleads not guilty to murdering wife

Tex McIver pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to charges he murdered his wife.

But is he trying to sway the case against him from behind bars?

Fulton County Assistant District Attorney Clint Rucker told a judge on Tuesday that three phone calls McIver made while in the jail show him trying to influence a witness and curry favor with a judge.

Judge Robert McBurney said he would listen to recordings of the calls before deciding whether the Atlanta attorney should be released on bail.
