That long walk from the tailgating lots to the Georgia Dome may not seem that long at all for the NFL playoff game Saturday.

The weather will be beautiful when the host Atlanta Falcons take on the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC divisional playoffs.

Though temperatures aren’t forecast to hit the 70s like they are Friday, they will reach 68 degrees Saturday, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Temps are expected to reach the upper 60s by 4 p.m., just in time for kickoff at 4:35 p.m.

The game will broadcast on Fox.

“Looks like partly to mostly cloudy skies and temps in the mid-60s at 4 p.m. dropping into the upper 50s by 8 p.m. Should be just perfect for tailgating,” Channel 2 chief meteorologist Glenn Burns said.

And there’s not a chance of rain in sight.

It will “still (be) partly cloudy, still warm for this time of year, just not quite as warm” as Friday, Channel 2 meteorologist Brad Nitz said.
