Report: California, Milton police discuss high-end call girl

California police are meeting with north Fulton County authorities this week to compare notes on a high-end prostitute from metro Atlanta who allegedly injected a Google executive with heroin and left him to die.

Alix Catherine Tichelman, 26, was arrested last month on drug and manslaughter charges in California in connection with the November death of Google executive Forrest Hayes.

Shortly after the arrest, the Milton Police Department announced that its agency was reopening the investigation into last year's death of local concert hall owner Dean Riopelle. Tichelman was dating Riopelle, the 53-year-old owner of Atlanta's Masquerade concert venue, at the time of his death last September.

While news reports last fall indicated that Riopelle died of an apparent heart attack, an investigator with the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s officer told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution last month that Riopelle died of “heroin, Oxycodone and ethanol toxicity.”

According to Channel 2 Action News, Milton and Santa Cruz, Calif., investigators are sharing information on Tichelman.
