Police investigating body found at a Georgia Walmart

The body was found in the Forsyth store’s men’s restroom

The Forsyth Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding a body found in the men’s restroom at a Walmart store in Forsyth.

About 5:30 a.m. Monday, Walmart employees discovered the body in the men’s restroom at the Walmart on North Lee Street in Forsyth. The store was closed Monday morning for a time, but it has since reopened, Forsyth Police Maj. Alexander Daniels told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The body will be sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab to determine the cause of death.

The gender of the deceased has not yet been revealed.
