Police identify victim and suspect in Cobb apartment shooting

Sept 20, 2014Cobb police have released the identity of the suspect and the man found fatally shot at the Walton Crossing Apartments near Austell Saturday morning
Detectives have confirmed the identity of the dead man as Tavin E. Campbell, 24, of Marietta, Georgia. The suspect has been identified as Orain Patterson, 27, who police described as armed and dangerous.
The call came in at 7:23 a.m. Saturday to the apartments on Mulkey Road, according to Cobb County Police spokesman Mike Bowman.
