A driver on I-285 struck and killed a man who was standing in the middle of the traffic lane early Saturday morning, College Park Police told Channel 2 Action News.

The man was standing with his back to traffic about 4 a.m., police told the station.

The driver stopped afterward, and no citations have been issued.

No identification was found on the victim, and the investigation is continuing.
