Don't despair, there's a good chance your local grocery store is open on Christmas Eve, and a few will be open on Christmas, too.

Here’s a list of holiday hours for some grocery store chains. Some stores may have different hours, so be sure to check with your local store to confirm they're open before you head out.
- 7-Eleven: Most locations are open 24 hours. Find your location here.
- Albertsons: Open on Christmas Eve from 6 a.m.- 9 pm. and on Christmas from 6 a.m. until noon.
- Aldi: Limited hours on Christmas Eve, check here; closed on Christmas.
- BJ's: Stores close at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve; closed on Christmas.
- Bristol Farms: Open 6 a.m.-10 p.m. on Christmas Eve; closed on Christmas.
- Costco: Costco will be open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas.
- Giant: Stores close at 7 p.m. Christmas Eve; most will be open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Christmas.
- H-E-B: All H-E-B locations will be open 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve; closed on Christmas.
- Harris Teeter: Stores close at 7 p.m. Christmas Eve; closed on Christmas.
- Ingles: Stores close at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve; closed on Christmas.
- Kmart: Stores open until 8 p.m. Christmas Eve. Find your store here. Closed on Christmas.
- Kroger: Kroger is open on Christmas Eve regular hours until 7 p.m. The stores are closed on Christmas.
- Meijer: Most Meijer's will close at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve; closed on Christmas.
- Publix: Publix will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The stores are closed on Christmas.

- Sam's Club: Open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Christmas Eve; closed on Christmas.
