Wayfair opens first brick and mortar store

Wayfair, which already offers furniture and home decor at a discount, will offer deeper deals as the online retailer opens its first brick and mortar location.

The outlet store in Kentucky sells closeouts and furniture items that were returned but are still in good condition, according to Wayfair.

The store is open Friday through Sunday, according to a company spokeswoman. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.

The store was briefly opened on the weekends in December for a soft opening.

The online retailer has 13.9 million active customers and more than 10,900 employees.
