A possible meteor brightened the night sky Saturday in parts of Texas.
According to Mashable, residents from Corpus Christi to Lubbock saw the object, described as "a big, bright shooting star," about 8:45 p.m. CT, said Lara Keys of the National Weather Service's Corpus Christi station.
Authorities in San Antonio said the ground shook after the possible meteor was spotted, Mashable reported.
