A surprise visitor was caught on video roaming the halls of a high school in Bozeman, Montana, Wednesday morning.

A small bear was spotted near Bozeman High School by members of a local booster club around 7:30 a.m. It was first seen on the football field and later wandered into the school through an open garage door on the back of the building.

In video posted to YouTube, the bear can be seen casually walking and sniffing as it lumbers down the hall.

The bear eventually exited the school through an open door while a Gallatin County sheriff kept an eye on it.

The bear will be relocated and monitored to ensure it doesn't return according to Fish, Wildlife and Parks spokeswoman Andrea Jones.

The high school has had other animals inside the school, but this is likely the first time for a bear.
