A toddler fell from a balcony aboard a Carnival cruise ship Friday and had to be airlifted to a hospital in Tampa, Florida.
It happened on the Carnival Breeze as the ship was sailing from Galveston, Texas, to the Bahamas, according to KHOU-TV.
The 3-year-old girl suffered injuries to her face, but was in stable condition as she was taken from the ship, KHOU reported.
The child tumbled one level from her stateroom balcony to an outdoor deck below, the cruise line said in a statement.
The accident did not alter the cruise and the ship was due back in Galveston on Sunday.
