Possible tornados in Louisiana and Mississippi Tuesday left a trail of destruction as the severe weather was expected to continue on into Alabama and Georgia.
The National Weather Service in Jackson, Mississippi, tweeted at that at 2:25 p.m. local time, a possible tornado caused extensive damage, including structural, around Columbia. NWS reported vehicles were flipped and a mobile home park was damaged.
The NWS in New Orleans tweeted photos from Tangipahoa Emergency Management showing debris from a possible tornado that hit around Amite City, La.
