Tuesday, July 12 is Cow Appreciation Day.

Chick-fil-A restaurants will give a free entrée, including an original chicken sandwich, a grilled chicken cool wrap or a Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit, to any customer who comes fully dressed as a cow, or "head to hoof," and to customers partially dressed in cow attire, using accessories such as a cow-spotted hat, scarf or purse.

"Cow Appreciation Day is the one day where it's okay to dress 'udderly' crazy and get rewarded for it," said Jon Bridges, Chick-fil-A's senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

This will be the 12th year the chicken chain will honor the food giveaway day.
