Journalists in newsrooms everywhere are now showing support by using the #WeStandWithWDBJ following the deadly shooting of two reporters in Virginia.

Vicki Chen, an investigative producer for KVUE in Austin, Texas, was the first to use the hashtag  #WeStandWithWDBJ just hours after the event:

News crews: join us in saying #WeStandWithWDBJ. Proud & not afraid to be a journalist today. #TV #WDBJ @WDBJ7 @KVUE

Others in the media across the country immediately joined in using Chen's hashtag offering support to WDBJ-TV in an act of solidarity.
