An Iowa woman was arrested this week on suspicion of voter fraud.

Terri Lynn Rote, 55, is accused of casting two ballots, according to The Des Moines Register. Rote submitted the ballots, both for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, at different locations. She was arrested Thursday on a first-degree election misconduct charge, a felony.

Rote told Iowa Public Radio, "I wasn't planning on doing it twice, it was spur of the moment. The polls are rigged."

According to the county auditor, it’s the first time in 12 years that voter fraud has been reported in Polk County.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has raised the issue of a rigged election at many of his campaign events.
