A day in the life of a Georgia DNC delegate: Elizabeth Holland

Elizabeth Holland, a Hillary Clinton delegate from Sycamore, Georgia jokes that she grew up in a town with one street light.

The recent University of Georgia graduate is a long way from home — nearly 900 miles to be specific.

“When I got to college I wanted to find my way to be a part of the political process,” Holland said.

That drive to get involved led the now 22-year-old to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Holland is in Philly as a first time delegate for the Georgia Democratic delegation at the Democratic National Convention.
