Man killed in NW Atlanta apartment shooting identified
The victim of a Friday morning fatal shooting in northwest Atlanta has been identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Deontavious Wright, 29, of Atlanta, died after being shot several times in an apartment in the 3800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Atlanta police said.
Police are looking for two people in connection with the shooting but offered no further details as of Friday evening.
The 2-year-old child of Wright’s girlfriend was in the apartment when the shooting happened, the girlfriend told Channel 2 Action News.
