A 22-year-old Marietta man was struck and killed by a car Saturday.

Forrest L. Mann was walking west across Canton Road near Blackwell Circle when he was hit by a white 2007 Ford Focus heading north about 9:20 p.m., according to the Cobb County Police Department.

An ambulance took Mann to WellStar Kennestone Hospital where he died of his injuries.

The driver, a 25-year-old Kennesaw woman, was treated at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call police at 770-499-3987.
