The winner of a $1,000-a-day jackpot has claimed their winnings, but their identity is a mystery.

The Georgia Lottery announced that the lucky person who bought a winning Cash4Life ticket in Gwinnett County came forward last week. That person’s identity has not been released.

The ticket was sold at a Chevron station on Scenic Highway in Lawrenceville. The winning numbers drawn May 4 were 1-2-17-24-38, with the Cash Ball coming up as 4.

The winner took home the game’s top prize of $1,000 a day for life — $365,000 per year, before taxes. Second prize in Cash4Life is $1,000 a week for life, amounting to a healthy sum of about $52,000 per year before taxes.
