An armed man who walked up to a car, pulled out a gun and started shooting was  caught on surveillance video, police said.

The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. Oct. 21 on Northside Drive in northwest Atlanta and police are still searching for the suspect, Channel 2 Action News reported.

A man and his girlfriend told police they were driving south on Northside Drive when a red Honda Civic ran a light and almost hit their vehicle. They said there was a verbal altercation and they drove off.

After they pulled into a gas station and a few moments later, shots were fired at them, the news station reported.

The victims were hit in several places, police said. They were taken to Atlanta Medical Center for treatment.
